Exercise all thru-hulls valves at least once a quarter. Pump out holding tank and flush out a couple times with fresh water. Then fill it one quarter full and open the valve to drain. After draining close the thru-hull valve. Open deck pump out plate and pour a cup of white vinegar into the holding tank re-secure cap and repeat at next pump out.
Regularity lift up lazerette lids and propane lockers and anchor locker. Clean out any mildew present with Simple Green diluted per instructions.

Every 9 months or so apply one application of Howard Products Sunshield (Amazon) apply with microfiber cloth and wipe off.

Clean and polish dodger isinglass panes with Mcquires # 10 & # 17 Plastic Cleaner and Polish
Must have a good base of varnish Epiphanes or Captains varnish first. Put on 3 coats of Cetol Marine Gloss.
Apply three new coats on every 9 months scuffing it with a fine Scotchbrite pad and cleaning with a tack rag first.
Polish with Prism or Flitz afterwards apply Collinite Insulator Wax

Put on with microfiber towel 3 coats. It turns chalky between coats so buff it off and do the next layer. This should be on all shiny metal. Do this every 6 months.
